Bitcoin’s birthday is a touchy subject for whales. This year, one of the top 5 largest holders celebrates with a big buy on BTC futures and Bitcoin donations to charity…

The “why is cardano falling” is a question that has been asked by many people. The answer to the question is because Cardano, the third-largest whale, just bought 456 BTC on Bitcoin’s birthday.

The genesis block of the Bitcoin (BTC) blockchain, which marked the start of the chain, was produced 13 years ago. To mark the occasion, the third-largest Bitcoin whale looks to have returned from the holidays, having just executed the first significant buy of 2022.

According to statistics from Bitinfocharts. com, the third-largest Bitcoin address added 456 BTC on January 4 at an average price of $46,363, equal to about $21 million.

The whale now possesses 120,845.57 BTC worth approximately $5.6 billion at the time of writing. The identity of the holder is unknown, but it seems that the entity is taking advantage of the present price volatility. Bitcoin is presently selling at roughly $46,603, down 1.7 percent in the previous 24 hours and 8.9 percent in the last week.

Meanwhile, the negative causes that weighed on the cryptocurrency market at the end of 2021 have continued into the first week of 2022, when Bitcoin’s price plummeted below $47,000 on January 1, and it continues to suffer severe headwinds on shorter period charts.

Despite Bitcoin’s short-term troubles, many investors remain optimistic. GalaxyBTC, a Twitter user who goes by the handle GalaxyBTC, recently provided this graphic depicting a possible breakthrough in the first quarter of 2021.
